I usually prefer refreshing sauvignon blanc or riesling to pair with chinese food. But this rich chardonnay performed incredibly well.Tasted 15 Dec 07 at Cantonese Restaurant.Golden buttery yellow color. Incredibly rich and concentrated with honey and caramel and hint of melon,pear and almond aromas. This creamy full body white has great depth and length. Very balance with pleasant sweetness backed up by nice acidity enabling perfect pairing with all the chinese dishes we had. Very long and persistent finishing with slight touch of mineral.
